There's some pretty good film out there of this incident. I've always been amused at the notion that the Carcano carbine that Oswald had is a crappy gun. It's not. It's quite accurate, the 6.5 Carcano is a really good, flat shooting, medium power cartridge that is easy to learn to shoot. I bought one identical to it in 1969 for my first deer rifle. It's good enough. I still don't buy the one shooter theory, but I still believe Oswald was part of it somehow.

In 1972 i was 5 years old and my Uncle, my Moms youngest.brother was just home from Vietnam. He's been gone for about 2 years now. We were very close, he really was just a great Uncle. I lived in Dallas when this happened. I was watching TV all week end long even when Oswald was shot. He was being held in the city jail, and was be transported to the county jail. I always wondered what was so dam important to move him from one jail to another jail. A jail is a jail. Just to many around when he was being moved.
